It’s really easy to set up a YouTube account but it’s not really necessary just to watch videos. If you set up an account you are able to take full advantage of the features on YouTube. Once you have an account you can comment on videos, subscribe to others users, rate and flag videos and access restricted ‘flagged’ material. One thing that really annoys me about YouTube is that now there are much stricter restrictions on what people can upload and view. Years ago YouTube was more interesting, people would upload entire television shows and films that had not been aired in Australia, which probably broke several copyright laws but it was a better service. I feel that the content on YouTube today is much less interesting than I was a few years ago, It’s just so bland now that it has been bought out. I was trying to find an interesting video about libraries or librarians, there were a few but I thought that this one really was the winner. Mainly because the librarian puppet reminds me of a coworker of mine who regularly berates patrons for fairly minor transgressions.Anyway, it's random library video time.
